The Disruptive Design Method is a three-part process of mining, landscaping and building to help you make change in the world around you. This introductory overview helps you understand the core concepts and discover how identify your own pre-established thinking, restructure the relevance, and then build new knowledge. To help solve problems at a planetary scale you need 3-dimensional thinking tools. Our classes help you overcome reductionist thinking, and this introductory class will show you how to get started.

What’s inside this course
The Disruptive Design Method (DDM) is a systems-based approach to creative problem solving for tackling complex social and environmental issues. It combines sociological inquiry methods (mining) with systems explorations (landscaping) and design and creativity (building) approaches. The method is built on systems, sustainability and design, allowing for a three-dimensional perspective shift of a problem arena to ensure that interventions create positive change. As as a renowned international expert on systems thinking and sustainability, she runs workshops around the world and designs unique educational experiences that help equip people with the tools to intervene and change systems to make the status quo obsolete. Our limited number of scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated need to certain select courses and programs. We fund these to promote equitable access to our programs.
