What’s inside this Certification
This certification program is for people wanting to master facilitation of transformative experience design and delivery. This program is deep and designed for people who have established skills in facilitation or want to develop a career in facilitating change, and/or those in organizations who find themselves in the position of transferring knowledge to clients and internal teams and wish to provide the most optimal experience for skill and content delivery, while inspiring intrinsic change desire and motivation for a positive future.
This certification program aims to foster and support a community of expert practitioners interested in advocating, educating and enabling proactive sustainability and socially motivated change through the Disruptive Design Method. It is designed to maintain a high level of integrity within the community while offering a ‘leveling-up’ process to dedicated educators and community advocates.
After 12 months of core knowledge building and practice, you will have a 3-month mentorship that supports you during your final challenge process.
Each track supports this at different levels of professional development. This Educator Track is a high level training program and we recommend that you come with:
At least 50 hours of existing practice as a facilitator in workshops or educative sessions
Minimum 5 years experience in your field
Are in a position of transferring knowledge and skills to others
Want to enable capacity, growth and agency in others
In this course, take your understanding and application of systems thinking to the next level. Develop your theory of change and learn advanced techniques for leveraging change-making systems interventions.

We work hard to balance providing reduced tuition for our programs, offering open source tools & resources, and generating enough revenue to maintain and innovate our programs. As a socially motivated business, we operate on a lean budget and work hard to distribute our resources to support our applicants in highest need. We offer limited scholarships to community members who would otherwise be unable to attend a program at all.
We encourage everyone to apply for scholarships if they feel that they would not be able to access programs otherwise. We are always working towards removing financial, physical, language and time barriers by offering scholarships, diverse international program locations, and online education and free content in a growing number of languages. We also offer additional access support for those identifying as from First Nations, Aboriginal, Native or other Indigenous communities.

The Educator certification gives you access for 15 months from the date of purchase.
We review requests for extensions on a case by case basis, and consider 3 month at a time extensions. Depending on the situation, there may or may not be a cost involved.
As our programs are based in action, it varies from person to person. The actual reading and watching time is easily manageable for someone working a full time job, however it may take longer to complete the activities. Most people manage to complete the certification in about a year, and dedicate a few hours a month to their course work. Others complete it in a sprint over a few months during time off.
We have closed captioning for the videos that are included in the program available in English. You can also use a browser (we recommend Chrome or Brave) to translate the written content on the screen into your preferred language.
